Fancy granite cleaners are expensive and don’t do a better job than this homemade version I found on Pinterest. Also, there is nothing toxic in it, a big plus.
The recipe is: 1 ½ cups water, 3 tablespoons rubbing alcohol, 1 teaspoon castile soap. I bought the spray bottles with labels on Amazon and Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap through Walmart.
It doesn’t have enough soap to cut through heavy grease. I use a drop of Dawn on a sponge for those areas, then follow up with granite cleaner and a microfiber cloth.
Voila! Clean and shiny.
